The travertine sink top was a surprise as well as the granite in the bathroom. The shower pressure was excellent with endless hot water. I wasnt expecting a microwave or fridge. I love that there was an iron with board in the room.
The only thing I can think of would be 2 bottles of water per stay.
Very clean and nice hotel.Good location if you plan to visit San Francisco
Easy to go to San Francisco (Bay Bridge toll around $5)...
Unfriendly staff! The woman at the front desk when we checked in was incredibly unfriendly! When I went down to ask for the WiFi password I talked to a young man. He was okay and helped me with the problem. The neighborhood and the other customers didn't seem very trustworthy.
The aesthetic surroundings, furnishings, and new fixtures, i.e. new tub, toilet, lighting, and granite surfaces were up to date and well constructed.
The location of the hotel was right next to the freeway and a little noisy.
The workers were very nice. It served its purpose; a place to sleep for a few hours.
Terrible location. This was a Motel not a Hotel and definitely not the Holiday Inn.
Very clean and nice hotel in Oakland - close to Airport and Coliseum. Secure area close to freeway. Room was quite and peaceful. Very reasonably priced compared to nearby hotels with same amenities
Not many restaurants nearby, but if you have a car, it should not be a problem.
I can't argue with the price.
A "rat hole". It took her 30-45 mins to check me in. My res. was made the week before. The room was smelly, carpet very dirty with stains everywhere. I could not walk barefooted. The outlets were hanging off the wall so it was difficult keeping your electronics plugged in. As for the Winter Season, if you want to live in an igloo then this is the place. The heater was an antique 1950's heater box on the wall which took all night to heat up the room. During my stay, it was rainy/windy/cold. I had to put towels under the door to shut out the draft. I had to ask for extra blankets because the Staff refused to refund me or move me into another room - she just said "they are all the same" and walked away from the counter.
i liked it because it was within my budget...
no restaurants,no shuttle service, location wasnt all that great
That it was just about as close as you can get to the oakland coliseum. You drive one minute and your in line for the game. It however is not the ritz.
The train runs every hour on the hour and it blows it horn while going by.
Very clean free parking, good amenities
No do not disturb sign so maid enters everyday! No safe.
Nice hotel, close to the beach (5 min drive by car) and downtown Monterey. Wifi works perfectly. We had dinner at a nice restaurant downtown, very good food for a small price: Rosines Restaurant at 434 Alvarado St.
Booked.net said that there was a laundry at the hotel, but that wasn't the case. There was a laundry one block from the hotel.
No stores or any thing around.
Fast check in. Friendly service at registering desk.
Not a very good neighborhood. But at least the place has a gate in their parking lot.
The staff was very rude and made you wait for a long time to be helped
Staff seemed to be on the ball But I felt Motel was to expensive it was an Motel 6 without any frills inc no phone
Nothing really ex it was close to stadium
